what3words（ワットスリーワーズ）を使うと、例えば「東京都台東区台東１－２４－２」といった従来の住所表記を、「がんばり。のきした。ちゅうび」といった、3つの短い単語で言い表すことができるようになります。さらに、その3つの単語をつかってS.RIDEアプリで迎車地や目的地の検索をすることができます。

what3wordsは独自のアルゴリズムを使い、地球全体の地図を３メートル四方のマス目に分割します（地球全体で、このマス目の数は、おおよそ57兆個にもなります）。さらに、それぞれのマス目に「異なる３つの単語」を割り当てています。

例えば、従来の住所表記の代わりに、「がんばり。のきした。ちゅうび」（注1）という3つの単語の組み合わせを入力するだけで目的地設定が可能となります。3つの単語はひらがなで表記され、入力もひらがなで行います。単語と単語の間は「・」（中黒）もしくは「。」（句点）もしくは「.」（ピリオド）で区切ります。

what3wordsを利用すると、お客様が待ち合わせ場所をご家族や友達に伝えたいとき、3つの単語を伝えるだけで、細かく正確に場所を伝えることができるようになります（注1）。

さらに、S.RIDEアプリにて迎車地や目的地の住所検索をする際に、what3wordsの3つの単語を入力することで、大きな建物周辺、広いショッピングモール、大きな公園の入口、通りの角など、通りの名称や施設名だけでは伝えることが難しかった特定の地点を、3メートル四方というピンポイントで、細かく設定することが可能になるため、S.RIDEによるお客様の移動体験はさらに便利なものとなります（注2）（注3）。

また、what3wordsに組み込まれている自動提示機能により、1文字程度の入力ミスを行った場合であっても、正しい住所を提示しますので、迎車地や目的地の誤入力を減らすことが期待できます。是非what3wordsをご活用ください。
